Twitter Time - From a Blog to the Box!

Hello one and all.

Time just shoots by and still no new Podcooks for all you hungry people, apologies.

The fact of the matter is everything is cracking along at a blistering pace, it is amazing how quickly things can change.

On the 12th of April last year I posted my first "Cooking With Mother" Podcook (Mamas cracking pork Vindaloo for my belly MMMM MMMM) an mp3 Podcook from my London flat in Boca, Acton.

23/Feb/2009 and I am writing about "Cooking With Mother" being on the Telly from my new home which happens to be a thatched cottage in Hampshire.
That's right, Cooking With Mother on the TV and I now live in a thatched cottage in rural Hampshire? Where will I be next year? Tibet?
I only ever started this Blog for me and any other foodies out there that might be interested in podcooking.
The chance for anybody to easily enjoy some good grub inbetween work and play, to have a recipe described to you on your ipod in stunning detail because it is as live and you can re-cook it over and over again, now who better to do that with than your Mum.
So I recorded the phone conversations between us and posted them as podcasts to this blog as an archive.
And now a wonderfully supportive and clever TV production company called Bearkatt are in full swing producing "Cooking With Mother" The TV show. And boy are there some surprises in store!

Bonkers!

We begin filming on the 6th of March - our dates got pushed back a bit because of Comic Relief but everyone is still hard at it and readying for the shoot.

Speaking of which I should get back to work - I will be Tweeting more regularly from now on thanks to Twitterberry so please do follow the adventure with us by clicking the Podcooks Twitter link on the right hand side of this blog for all the up to the minute stuff.

Thank you again to all of you that have emailed in recipes, podcasts, suggestions and kind messages over the last couple of months it is always lovely to hear from you, if you wish to contact us please email podcooks(at)cookingwithmother(dot)com.

I promise to post to the blog again very, very soon.

Best
